What? A man in shorts? Not Italian style.
That surprises me because I have met many Italians in shorts, in fact even in Rome, most of them even astonished me by their perfect English.
Actually I was joking a bit, the Italian style rather pertains to the combination of the interior, the youth with the Octavian-style haircut, the skills of the photographer and the general feel of those pictures. If you haven’t studied the last 2500 years of the history and culture of that country you could have of course some difficulty comprehending what I tried to hint at but that’s o.k. I forgive you. ;)
Yes, in regards to your second remark, I see your point. There is value in contemplating Italian style through pictures of this type. I understand that method, in part, because I'm an admirer of Gabriele D'Annunzio, who has taught me how to discern the perspectives of historic Italian cultural glory, as communicated through the personages and scenes of contemporary Italian people.
Now you can probably tell, I like this website, and I hope to view more of this online project in the future.
