Eccentric Loafer (Karl Ivants)
From: Helge Sternke (Alles über Herrenschuhe)
As I have said previously here somewhere, I like loafers in all their forms but how about this? Maybe a bit too much? But used in place of those ubiquitous desert-boots: any day!
Eccentric is the word. I don't own a single pair of loafers. But lately I've been more and more attracted to the idea of getting a pair. Maybe tassles. I meen, why not go all in? My only concern is that my rather slim feets haven't worked so well with loafers in the past. But perhaps it's just a question of finding the right maker?
Maybe tassel-loafers would be fitting you. I also just bought my first pair last year inspired by some of the other BLOGs and can say that they are more authoritative and business-like than normal ones...
Haha! Then I was 'lucky' that I posted some black ones in the next post above!
Ostarichi-disease.., yes, I even agree that they are somehow 'ugly' in a sense yet also somehow intruiging; less the new ones but when they will have acquired some nice patina, maybe...
Don't forget that I'm no Brit but an Austrian farm-boy who likes to wear his brown-loafers (and Loden) in town, too! ;)

Hello Herr Braun:
Loafers....definitely. These particular loafers, sadly no!
First, they are brown, secondly they are two-tone brown and finally they look to have caught some rather nasty and spotty disease.
Russell and Bromley loafers for men and women....in black....slippers for the feet!

I love loafers and have done for years. I particularly like Tassel loafers and encourage you to get a pair or three.
The shoes in the picture look as if they are partly made from ostrich skin, which I find rather unattractive. But that's me.
Still, the loafer notion is a sound one.
