Good, New Perfume
The combination of new and good sounds like an oxymoronic expression but from the range of more recent perfumes- not considering such all-time favourites and classics like Penhaligon's BB, Creed's Green Irish Tweed or Knize 10- this is one of the better ones! (not better than e.g. Acqua di Parma, but still quite good...)

Which AdP do you ,recommend? I've not yet tried it.
When looking at it notes, it probably wouldn't work for me, but I do like the bottle and the name: Grey Vetiver.
What about eau de cologne? It is said to have been a favorite of the Emperor Napoleon.
One website advertises a product claiming to reproduce the exact scent, although I myself never ordered from there.

It has actually been some time since I bought a new AdP product, the smell is very classical but unfortuantely as far as I know they only had it as an eau dC not an eau dT or Parfum so it was always a bit ephemeral. I used AdP Assoluta but there is also an Intensa that I inspired by this conversation will probably buy next, else the soaps are nice, too.
LSS: good to see you around! Maybe try it at the shop. Personal note: when I apply this it, just for the first few seconds, it smells like fresh young carrots!
Anonym: no exp. there either.
