It is a beautiful book, I have had it for a while now but have still not read it properly, I think it just has to be the right moment for a book this special !!!
I was reading a recommendation for it in a magazine the other day, so I looked around the net and came upon your description...like you, I also had the *feeling* of it being inspiring and beautiful (so I ordered it, too), somehow the few photos I saw related to me a sense of nostalgic longing of a dreamy, bucolic quality...
