I have always liked this interview; especially when she describes (in part three) how she actually slept through an airraid and afterwards felt embarrassed of it!

Wonderful. Thanks for posting this. About twenty years ago I was asked to ascort an elderly German lady around London. She was in her 70s but still very beautiful. It turned out she had been a high-ranking official of Bund Deutscher Mädel (BDM), a fact of which I was well aware. She told me her life story. Fascinating lady. I must write about her one of these days.
