I'm especially fond of "Herbsttag" which is probably among my top ten of poems. There is also a very interesting book about his relationship with Lou Andreas-Salomé, read it some years ago, however, cannot remember its proper title at the moment. <br /><br />Whenever I think of Rilke, I also remember my English/German teacher, who wrote a book about the poet. That teacher was what I would call a "harter Hund", very strict and authoritarian. He was also the only one who always wore a suit at school.
